BRIGADE OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION 

NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT AT FORT ONTARIO , 

AUGUST 14-15, 2010

[17 July 2010]  The National Encampment of the Brigade of the American Revolution (BAR) will be held at Fort Ontario State Historic Site in Oswego on August 14-15, 2010.  Over two hundred British, Continental, Native, and Civilian reenactors from around the United States and Canada will converge on Oswego to commemorate the important role Fort Ontario played in our War for Independence (1775-1783).  Programming will take place from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM on Saturday and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Sunday.  Tactical weapons demonstrations or battle simulations will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.  For more information on activities view the Friends of Fort Ontario website [www.fortontario.com]. Regular admission will be charged, children age 12 and under will be admitted free.
